New Mooners!
So excited for tonight. Here are some suggestions to make the most of this experience. Also, it will be recorded and sent to those who can’t make it.
The zoom room will open a little bit before 5 PM— I will simply be grounding myself and rooting, and you are welcome to join if you like to settle in slowly.
We will start with the reiki meditation, so that is an invite to begin in a space where you can lay down and get cozy. Or be seated. But whatever position will allow you to relax the most. Reiki can often make us relaxed to the point of drowsy, and I personally love to lean into this and drift wherever it takes me.
Have water or tea after the reiki meditation: this helps to rinse all the residue and stuck energy we kicked up.
Then, we will be writing, and I do suggest having a pen and paper for this portion, as we are transcribing our intuition and the language of our body—there is just something more organic about writing with a wand [pen] and being as detached as we can from technology. But truly, whatever feels most comfortable and natural to you.
Creating an ambience that engages the senses is the last invitation. And this could be using incense or having fresh flowers present. For incense I suggest anything that grounds, like patchouli, dragon’s blood, or orange. Any scent you love will work though.
Candlelight or dim lighting can also amplify the tenderness and receptivity of this reiki meditation. You could also wear red or orange to correspond with the root and sacral chakras which will be of focus in this meditation. Red is for our root chakra. Orange for the sacral. Balancing these energy centers reduces fear and anxiety. Either color can be coordinated into your setting—whether it is through clothing, candles or scents.
I will be playing reiki music and the bells.
These are all suggestions and having none or all present is simply a personal preference. And if you don’t have red or orange or any of the specific items or colors mentioned this will not inhibit your experience in any way.

The New Moon Club meeting should last no longer than 90 minutes. 15-20 minutes of meditation—15-20 minutes for journaling, followed by opportunites to share. And of course, if you must leave sooner than later, that is ok too. This is our space.
It’s not too late to join—details below. Although if you join after 4:00 PM EST you will be sent the video.
Zoom link is below for paid subscribers.
Happy New Moon in Pisces!
Love,
Sarah
